As the default themes all look alike I built a set of custom blocks for this shop giving it a more unique look. These custom blocks are the new Shopify version of custom Gutenberg blocks that were created for the WooCommerce shop.
As this was a WooCommerce shop before the data had to be migrated. In this case the customer wanted to re-organize the products and collections so that was all done manually. But to keep customer data this was all migrated from the old WooCommerce shop to the Shopify instance.
As Shopify maintains their platform for small sellers up to enterprise businesses they attempted to offer a full package. This means you do not have to do everything from the website, there is also a mobile app for iPhone and Android phones. With this app you can manage your shop while you’re on the go.
In the bookish world there are lots of opportunities for physical sales on nice markets. To support this, Bookish Goods is connected to the zettle POS. This is a good connection to use where you get a card reader and an app that syncs with your shop so you can sell the same products physically and digitally.

Interior designer Eric Kuster has launched his own line of paint colors. Together with Growth Start we built a Shopify store to sell his products. The pinnacle of this project is a calculator that helps the customer getting the right amount of paint straight in their carts using the Shopify REST api and custom web components.
